Validation of the rollup installation

To validation the installation of the rollup, click Help, and then click About Microsoft Dynamics AX. This will display the application and kernel versions. These versions should match the build version of the rollup.

Validation of the version of the kernel files

To validate the version of the kernel files, click About Microsoft Dynamics AX on the Help menu. Additionally, you can validate the information of the file version by viewing the file properties of the Ax32.exe file and of the Ax32serv.exe file. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Ax32.exe and Ax32serv.exe files in Windows Explorer on the computers that are running the Microsoft Dynamics AX client and on the computers that are running the Microsoft Dynamics AX AOS server.
2. Right-click the file that you want to validate, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Version tab.

To validate the version of the updated .dll files in the .NET Global Assembly Cache (GAC), such as the Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.dll file, follow these steps:

1. Locate the .dll file.
   
   Note By default, .dll files are located in the following folder:
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Client\Bin
2. Right-click the file that you want to validate, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Version tab.

Note All Microsoft Dynamics AX files begin with the "Microsoft.Dynamics" string.
